Teams right now tied for first place are the Marbecs and the Lebowskis. Marbec team consists of the Martin's and the Beckmans, Lebowski team consists of the Obrys, Gloria Pena, and Stephanie Franklin. Season high bowlers for the men are Andy Toro with a 722 scratch series and Frank Barnes with a 269 scratch game, for the women it's Colleen Vess, 504 scratch series and Becky Sweet 189, scratch game. Cost for bowling and prize money is $12 a week which includes three games. There is a $20 secretary fee for the year and $30 USBC sanction card for the year which makes us legal and official, especially if you bowl a 300 game, the ultimate goal everyone wants to achieve. Our starting time is 9:30 am Wednesday morning, warm ups begin at 9:20 am. Canyon Lanes is 16 miles away, off the 10 freeway next door and to the right of the Morongo Casino. A few of our teammates are having some medical issues and we ask for prayers and good vibes for healing.
