10 | THE COLONY NEWS | DECEMBER 2023 | Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Passes By HOA Mgmt To relieve traffic congestion at the Jackson Avenue visitor's gate on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, you may obtain a "Special One Day Entry Pass," in advance for your guests to use on Sunday, Dec. 24, and Monday, Dec. 25. e benefit of this Special Entry Pass is that it can be used at the Nutmeg Resident entrance between the hours of 3 and 7 pm on Christmas Eve, and on Christmas Day. We will staff additional security personnel at this location. When your guests present the pass to the officer upon entry, they will be promptly admitted into the community. In addition, these guest passes will be accepted at the Main Gate on Jackson Avenue throughout the entire day. Directions to all gates open to guests will be printed on the back of the pass. Please ensure that your guests have their pass on their vehicle dashboard at all times during their visit. You can obtain a Special One Day pass for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at the HOA Receptionist Desk. Information required includes guest name, resident's name, and resident address. Staff will fill in the information on each pass and give it to you to provide to your visitor(s). If your guest is planning on spending the night, please make sure that they have passes for both days displayed on their vehicle dashboard. It is recommended that you provide the pass to your guests on or before Saturday, Dec. 16, so that they receive them in time for their visit. As a reminder, please urge your guests to use the alternate entrance at Nutmeg Street to avoid the crowd at the Main Gate on Dec. 24 and 25. Toys for Tots boxes are available for your convenience in the Clubhouse lobby and will remain there until Sunday, Dec.10. Because the toy distribution begins in early December and continues until Christmas, we must adhere to the dates requested of us. We're almost to our collection cutoff, but you still have time to help fill the boxes. Let's make this holiday special for as many kids as we can! Southwest Riverside County Marine Corps League and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve appreciate your gis of unwrapped toys for children of all ages. In the past, this effort has not only provided some joy during the holidays, but also sends a message of hope, which can motivate children to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.
