| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | DECEMBER 2023 | 3 General Manager's Message By Rick Ruth, CMCA The holiday season is upon us! Each year, we look forward to this holiday season for many reasons. JoAnn Sopata and the decorating committee has beautifully decorated the lobby, hallways, library, Multipurpose room and the Art Room. As in years past, there are several trees in The Lodge lobby with gift tags for the Salvation Army. We encourage residents to pick up a gift tag. The presents you purchase help provide joy to children who otherwise might not receive them. Another annual tradition is the Holiday Home Tour. All proceeds go to deserving charities. Throughout the years, so many families have benefited from the generosity of Four Seasons residents and we thank you for that! As in years past, the Board has approved funding to decorate the outside of The Lodge, Gazebo and our Main and World Cup entrances with lighting and colorful decorations. I encourage all of you to come and see the beautifully decorated Lodge and its surroundings. We are blessed with many giving, generous people who dedicate a lot of their time to this endeavor. As this year draws to a close, I want to thank you for your continued support in allowing me to serve your community for the past 16 years. I would also like to acknowledge our dedicated management staff members who, without their collective efforts, would make managing your community very difficult, if not impossible. Those individuals who make this happen are: • Mari Salazar, Assistant General Manager • Tracie Rodgers, Activities Director • Maria Donti, ARC/Administrative Assistant • Tim Gross, Facility Maintenance Coordinator • Our Lodge Attendants: Tracie Long, Julie Shutt, Diana Cayente and Angie Jara We are very fortunate to have a management staff that is passionate about providing the best customer service they can to each and every one of you. Our staff makes every effort to be good stewards of your money and they do their best to adapt to the challenges that come with managing an active adult community. We also gratefully acknowledge our Board of Directors; Jim Crase, Barbra Balser, Tony Criscenti, Cliff Post, Roxy Snider, Mary Reyna and Fred Kydd, who give many hours of service to this community, and most importantly continue to give us their full support and encouragement. May you and your loved ones enjoy the blessings of this holiday season! Greetings Four Seasons residents, As my first year as your county supervisor draws to a close, I reflect with pride on the achievements my staff and I have made. I'd like to highlight some significant initiatives, particularly those benefiting our esteemed seniors! First and foremost, we launched the "Hire a Senior" program, offering local businesses financial incentives to employ seniors from our community. This exclusive program is available only in District 5. If you're a senior seeking full or part-time employment, or an employer keen on participating, please don't hesitate to reach out to my office. Throughout the year, I had the pleasure of hosting "meet and greets" at all five senior centers in District 5, including many of the 55+ HOA communities, such as the wonderful Four Seasons community. These gatherings not only provided me with the chance to meet many of my constituents but also allowed me to bring in representatives from the Department of Public Social Services, Office on Aging, and the District Attorney's office. It's been a highly productive inaugural year! As we approach the holiday season, I want to extend my warmest wishes to each and every one of you. May your days be filled with joy and your hearts with happiness. Warm regards, Yxstian Gutierrez County Supervisor
