Community Patrol Services (CPS) strives to uphold a culture of
transparency in our operations within this cherished community.
We aim to provide you with monthly comprehensive updates
pertaining to safety protocols, upcoming events, and more.
For the month of October, a total of 101 violations were recorded
for open garage doors. We kindly remind residents that while a
garage door can be partially open by 18 inches when inactive, it
is crucial to ensure its secure closure when not in use. Repeat
violations within a 12-month period will result in a hearing before
the CRC (Community Rules Committee). If found to be true, these
violations may incur a fine of $25 per citation. Recent sightings
of coyotes and Bobcats highlight the importance of safeguarding
both pets and garage sanctuaries.
In October, we also saw 11 violations of unauthorized parking
at the clubhouse parking lot. A reminder that the clubhouse lot
is for residents only. Guest parking is authorized at the overflow
parking lot adjacent to Inspiration Hill and the dog park. e
only exception to this rule is vehicles with handicapped parking
placards or license plates are authorized to park in the clubhouse
lot in a handicapped parking spot. Any vehicles parked in these
spots without the proper disability placards or license plates will
be cited, as will the homeowner.
Lastly, there were eight reported violations of unauthorized
overnight parking. A reminder that guests who are going to
remain on the property with their vehicle overnight need to have
an overnight pass for the days that they will be here overnight.
Overnight Parking is defined in the handbook as being on-site
between the hours of 2 and 6 am. To obtain an overnight pass for
your guest, contact the front gate at (760) 758-7111 and we will
assist you in processing your overnight guest.
If you have a concern that you would like to be raised in another
issue of OHCC Living magazine, contact me via email or by phone.
