Happy holidays, all! Although we are dark for the month,
your Board is still hard at work to provide entertainment that is
creative, funny, fun, meaningful, unusual, exciting, educational,
and thought-provoking.
e Diego Youth Symphony performed for us Nov. 6. e
symphony comprised more than 50 student musicians of various
skill levels and we were all enthralled.
Our General Meeting was held Nov. 6, as well. With no
nominations from the floor, we voted to approve the slate of officers
for 2024. ose officers are: Jean Hefler, President; Lois Powazek,
Vice-President; Phyllis Buvel, Treasurer, Naomi B. Katz, Secretary.
Congratulations to you all and thank you for your service.
Center Stage Productions, an Escondido student theater group,
is working on another presentation for our group. Keep your eyes
and ears open for specifics!

Please stop by our table on Do Dues Day, Jan. 13. Tentative time
frame is 10 am to 2 pm. Stop by, introduce yourself and get to
meet some of our members.
Our next regular Board meeting will be held Jan. 17, at 11 am, in
a room to be assigned. Regular Board meetings are held the third
Wednesday of the month at 11 am, and are open to all eatre Arts
members, so please do come and join us.
Join eatre Arts so you can participate in all of our entertainment
and activities. Our annual dues are currently $12. Our dues will
rise to $15 in 2024. Joining before the end of the year saves you
$3 and, as a member, you will enjoy all membership privileges
through the end of the year. Make your check payable to "OH
eatre Arts" and bring it to the front desk. Include your name,
address, email, and phone number on the check.
