Wine Club
Another fun and educational night at e Lodge!
Our wine club has been receiving such wonderful
comments and great ideas from its members.
Photos above show folks learning about the wines
from Oregon and Washington at our November
meeting. We held no meeting in December.
A New Year - 2024 Plans: e Steering Committee has produced
an exciting schedule for this new year!
e Jan. 25 meeting will be wines from Peirano Estates and
a fun event. "e history of Peirano Estate Vineyards is a tale
deeply rooted in Lodi with ancient zinfandel vines dating over 120
years and the importance is felt by every member of the Peirano
family." Residents Tom Plant and Randy Mellinger will present
the following: Sauvignon Blanc, Sea Enchantress, White Blend,
Heritage Zinfandel, and a Petite Sirah.
Feb. 22 - "LOVE IS BLIND" – and you will get an opportunity to
identify the varieties.
March 28 – Ever wondered about those Italian
wines? We have … so come see what they are all
about. Salute!
April 25 – "Neighborhood Selections" back by
popular demand.
May 23 - A presentation from a local winery.
Annual Membership Dues: At the Jan. 25 annual membership
meeting, you will need to complete your annual sign-up and
rejoin the Club. e yearly dues per person for 2024 will be
$30. Registration forms will be handed out. Monthly events will
continue at $10 per person and guests will be $15 each.
Don't forget your two wine glasses, perhaps a sample of your
favorite varietal to educate your table and if you like, appetizers
to share.
We are excited about what 2024 has in mind for us and look
forward to sharing a momentous year with you all. If you haven't
