40 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2024 Our December meeting was fantastic. The weather was perfect — a little cool at the beginning but it warmed up as the hot cars started arriving. The crème de la crème was delivered by Mike Flowers and his absolutely gorgeous Torch Red 2023 Chevrolet Z06 Corvette. Powered by a 5.5 litre V8 delivering a whopping 670 horsepower, Mike's Vette was the star attraction. Our Third Annual Veterans Day Car Show was held on Nov. 11 at The Lodge parking lot — it was absolutely EPIC. We had more than 60 cars, trucks, and motorcycles entered. There were fantastic raffle prizes, great music by DJ Dave Rohrbacker and fantastic breakfast burritos and sandwiches provided by the Bistro. The show was a huge success due to a contingent of many individuals who worked hard and worked in concert with each other. Here is the list of individuals who help make this a huge success. Rick Morales, Pam Morales, Brenda Florio, Janine Rohrbacker, Lisa Jasso, Linda Supernaw, Nan Weicek, Lizzie Gallegos, Julie Pellegrene, Martha Morales, Judges Rocky Shaw, Trini Velazquez, Billy Felix, Cornell Weicek. Parking assistants Greg Messick, Dale Supernaw, Vince Chacon. Photography by Roger Constance. The Quilting Enthusiasts Club made and donated two very patriotic and beautiful quilts that were included in our auction. The Beaumont High School Honor Guard performed the presentation of our nations colors. Cindy Graves and her amazing staff were also essential to the event's success. If I forgot to mention someone, please accept my apologies.
