GENERAL MANAGER'S REPORT
DUES INCREASES The Annual Policy & Budget Mailer was sent out
at the end of November which included in it the dues increases that
are effective Jan. 1, 2024. The General Association that everyone is a
member of went up from $268 to $283 monthly. The Front Yard Cost
Center went up from $76 to $83 monthly. The Springdales stayed
the same for their Cost Center. Please make sure to adjust your bank
auto-pay amounts to reflect the changes.
UPCOMING IN 2024 Happy New Year! There are several projects
and exciting things happening this year. The Board election process
starts in January and there are four seats open for election this year.
The Solar PPA should be starting soon as well. While we know we
don't grow younger as time passes, we will be doing the bi-annual
age verification process to maintain the community's senior status.
As the construction defect case settled at the end of 2023, we will
be working diligently on street repairs and clubhouse repairs. Stay
tuned!
NOVEMBER DOLLARS AND CENTS At the November Board meeting
the following projects and bids were approved:
• Stellar Peak Slope Updates - $7,340
• Bloomington Park Slope Restoration - $700
REMINDERS A reminder I give at each Open Session Board Meeting
is to slow down. Once you are home behind the gates speeding or
not stopping at stop signs will only save you a few seconds of time.
Speed limits are 30 mph on the Circle, 25 mph on all side streets
and 15 mph in parking lots. Please slow down and drive responsibly.
If you are a pedestrian, please use the sidewalks and wear visible
clothing when it is dark outside.
