FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2024 9 Is it really January 2024? My Apple watch is telling me so, which means that a new year is here with good things to come. For all of you with a New Year's resolution of getting in spectacular shape, we start the year off with the "For-The-Health-of-It" Fitness Expo on Saturday, Jan. 6 from 10 am to 12:30 pm. This is always a great way to see demonstrations of what the many physical fitness classes look like here so that you can get a good idea which classes might best meet your fitness goals. This is a free expo and everyone is invited to just walk in and check it out. Next, if you love Gail's Games, her popular version of the Four Seasons Password is in the Ballroom, free of charge, on Friday, Jan. 12 at 6 pm. You are welcome to bring your dinner and drinks in. This is always a lot of fun and Gail certainly brings out people's funny bone! Come on down! How about expanding your involvements this year to include meeting new people and pursuing new interests by joining one of our many, many clubs, groups or classes? If you'd actually like to invest in the community and work with awesome people and feel the fulfillment of truly contributing to make this neighborhood a better place, then we would love to have you check out our HOA committees. All of these great opportunities will be represented for your exploration on Saturday, Jan. 13 from 10 am to 1 pm during our Ballroom Club, Group and Committee Fair. The next thing I'd like to let you in on is a meeting we're having for folks who might be interested or willing to help us put together a Four Seasons Senior Olympics in May. If you might like to help or participate in the Senior Olympics, please join us in The Lodge (room to be determined) on Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 11 am. This should be an awesome event if we can get enough help. Cross your fingers for us. On a more tenderhearted personal note, our past Board member Ed Paules, who passed away last year will be honored by the HOA through the installment of a Memorial Plaque in our Lodge grounds rose garden on Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 1 pm. His sweet wife Barbara and their children will be there for a small reception in the RCN following a short recognition at the rose garden. All residents are invited to join us. Calling all singers — big Karaoke will be taking place in The Lodge Ballroom on Jan. 20 at 5:30 pm. Bring a song to sing and be prepared to have a good time. Crafters of Four Seasons, if you want to participate in the upcoming Spring Craft Boutique on Saturday, March 9, you need to attend the mandatory lottery meeting in the RCN on Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 6 pm. You may ask a representative to go in your stead to pull table numbers and learn how the Craft Boutique works. This is always a great event!
