We are excited to begin a new year of fun, camaraderie, and challenges to better our scoring and increase membership. Come join us! Dues are only $30 for the year. We are open to all male Sun Lakes residents and all levels of players (beginners to experienced). We play every Friday morning on the SCGA-rated Executive Course. If you play golf often, sign up for one of the 2024 annual membership golf rate options. The 2024 Annual Fees and Application are available in our Pro Shop. Championship Course Membership includes play on the Executive Course at no additional charge. In November, the Board of Directors held their Annual Organizational Meeting. The Board Members were elected to the following positions: President – Ron Smith; Vice President – Jim Smith; Secretary – Jeff Ranieri; Treasurer – Tom Gardner; Handicap/SCGA Delegate – Dale Bowring; Membership – Steve VonRajcs; Publicity – Tom Hyatt; Social – John Jones; Tournaments – Doug Jensen; and Parliamentarian – Woody Catalano. 8:30 am Shotgun Start for all Tournaments through March 2024. Reminder: All players must check in no later than 15 minutes before shotgun start! Tournament schedule for January 2024: Jan. 3 – Four Man Scramble (ABCD Computer Draw); Jan. 20 – One Man Scramble. Don't forget to pick up a Men's Golf Club Membership Application Form in the Pro Shop and submit your 2024 fees. Membership fees for 2024 will remain the same, $76 ($40 for our Men's Club, and $36 to SCGA to maintain a GHIN Handicap). Beginning in 2024, the membership dues and SCGA fees will be collected separately. For all current active members, the SCGA fee ($36) will be billed to your December 2023 Sun Lakes House Account, and you will see the charge on your January 2024 statement. The membership dues ($40) will be collected via personnel check along with the membership application and placed in the Men's Club Box located in the Pro Shop, on or before Dec. 31, 2023.
