62 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JANUARY 2024 | As I write this article, we have completed 13 weeks of bowling. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. There have been a lot of changes in the stats. Never despair as we have many weeks of bowling ahead. Here are the stats as of December 4, 2023: Team 17, Waters World, (Rick Waters, Sallie Flesher, John Noonan, Tom Keheley) have taken over first place, leading by four games. If you need help using the app, ask Peggy Laurel. Monday Bowling League Condiment Club As I'm sure you all know, we are the spin-off group of the Benevolent Order of Dressings & Sauces which was recently banned in Sun Lakes for being way too bossy about sauces. One member even got a restraining order for forcing everyone at a recent gathering to use barbecue sauce on salad, chocolate cake, and in wine. A party-goer had to receive medical treatment when the extra-spicy buffalo sauce was "inadvertently" rubbed into her eyeballs. We are sorry that happened but hope with this new beginning, we can find a place of mutual peace, respect, and happiness in our relationship with sauces and condiments. At our next meeting on Jan. 10, we will discuss garlic aioli and it's appropriate uses and food-related applications. We hope to see you there. ~ A. Wonsaws, (909) 797-3647
