4 SOLERA DIAMOND VALLEY | JANUARY 2024 Community Updates By Tyler Barber, Property Services Manager Happy New Year to everyone! I sincerely hope your holidays went well. Thank you to everyone for their cooperation with code compliance. I understand the process can be uncomfortable, as no one likes to have an open violation hanging over their head, but it is a necessary step to ensure the community stays neat and tidy. Not all properties should be looked at for imperfections. There are those that are neat and tidy. So, as you walk around the community, check out those properties that have taken time to raise the aesthetics of this community. Sometimes, the little things outdo the big. Action Items (as of 12/11/23 - please refer to the front desk for any updates): • A slab of concrete is proving to be a slipping hazard as water collects in a low spot. We have had it inspected, and a proposal has been provided. • The outdoor pool has had a few lights go out, and our pool Vendor has provided a proposal to replace them. • The roof above the gym stairs has a leak, and to prevent future incidents pertaining to the leak, the stairs will be taped off for general use until the leaks is repaired. • The sound system for the Lodge has been picked up by the Vendor, and we are waiting for a schedule to reinstall it. • The back patio stairs are available for general use! Please note that the door at the top is exit only. Violations: Opened- 7 ; Closed- 28 Hello, everyone. I have been asked to write something about myself so that you know a little bit about me. I have three sons and five grandchildren. I have lived here for 11 years and am from Damascus, Oregon. I worked at Precision Castparts for 16 years and had some brilliant bosses who taught me a great deal. Because I worked for the president and vice president, I oversaw our employee banquet which was for about 2,000 employees, and the United Way campaign, besides other duties. For my 40th birthday, I volunteered for the Clackamas County Special Olympics as the Clackamas Fundraising Chairman. I also coached bowling, baseball, and skiing. I was awarded the Volunteer of the Year, which was a great honor. I moved here to Hemet to be near my brother and his wife because my sons were spread out everywhere and I left California to begin with. My plan for the future is to be the best I can be, do the best I can, and try to serve you all. I love this community and want to see it thrive and move forward - united as it has before. Also, I would like the Board to be more transparent in dealing with decisions so that you understand why it was made. I will try to keep you informed whenever possible, so please join me on my new adventure.
