SOLERA DIAMOND VALLEY | JANUARY 2024 5 January officially marks my fourth year at Solera Diamond Valley. As I celebrate this occasion, I reflect on the skills honed, the milestones achieved, and the enduring relationships built. Here's to four years of continuous improvement, commitment, and the excitement of what lies ahead in this familiar yet ever-evolving professional adventure. I am looking forward to another exciting year of wonderful memories and fun. Come out and join your friends and neighbors for a free bagel breakfast on Fri., Jan. 12 at 9 am. Breakfast will include your choice of bagel, cream cheese, butter, jam, coffee, and juice. Sit and chat with friends new and old in this relaxed mixer atmosphere. You must pre- register for this event by Tues. Jan. 9. Join us on Thurs. Jan. 18 at 2 pm for a chance to meet with some of Solera Diamond Valley's popular Groups, Clubs, and Committees to learn how you can be a part of this active community. Sandwiches and drinks will be offered free for all attendees. If your Group, Club, or Committee is interested in having a table for Activities Day please reach out to Teri for requests. Be sure to register by Mon., Jan. 15 so that we have an accurate count of how many sandwiches to purchase. Join SDV's favorite sommelier, Kirk Green, as he walks you through the sinfully delightful journey of pairing wine with chocolate. Chocolate goes great with wine but find out why and explore all the different combinations in this very popular class. From dark chocolate to raspberry-filled, milk chocolate, and white chocolate, explore the wonderful taste combinations! This class will be on Fri., Jan. 19 at 6 pm in the Ballroom, the price is $28. Space is limited to the first 40 participants so be sure to register soon. SDV welcomes you to enjoy the country rock band American Made on Fri., Jan. 26 at 5 pm in the Ballroom. They have won over 40 awards from the California Country Music Association, which includes Band of the Year, Vocal Group of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year. We are excited to have them back at the Clubhouse for an evening to remember. Feel free to bring your favorite drinks and snacks to enjoy during the show. The price for Lounge Night is $5.
