8 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2024 Happy love month! You're going to love what we have in store for you in February! First, I hope this issue arrives before Feb. 1, because you need to go to this awesome presentation on Thursday, Feb. 1 at 6 pm in The Lodge Ballroom. Celebrity Leo Rossi, who was the road manager for Fleetwood Mac, Beach Boys, Billy Idol, Diana Ross, Bette Midler, and others, will be presenting videos, pictures, and stories about living the "rock and roll dream." This is going to be a rare look behind the scenes from a real-life celebrity who was there! Doors open at 5:30 pm and there is no charge for admittance — plus you're welcome to bring in your favorite beverages (table seating). If you love to paint, Rob will be holding another one of his famous Paint Parties in the RCN on Friday, Feb. 9 from 5 to 7 pm. If you want to take your special loved one or a good friend for a memorable Valentine's Day, think about coming down to The Lodge with the ever-popular American Made Dance Band. The Bistro is going to offer a delicious, elegant chicken cordon bleu dinner with dessert and we'll have little surprises throughout the night. There is no cost to attend; we do ask, however, that you pick up your free entry wristbands at The Lodge front desk starting Friday, Feb. 2. Be sure to check out the Social Committee article for information about the Feb. 17 Celine Dion and Neil Diamond concert. That's going to be a great one so be sure to purchase tickets early before they're sold out. For you garden lovers, we have the Inland Empire Resource Conservation Department coming on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 10 am to 12 noon in The Lodge Ballroom. They will be covering topics such as native plants and irrigation tips and tricks. Love your garden, the gift that keeps on giving! Drum-roll please … Now here's a super fun, meaningful, nostalgic Valentine themed event you're going to get a kick out of … The Performing Arts Club is sponsoring Karen Belcher's Name That Tune, Love Songs Edition! In preparation for the event, if you would like to send in a photo or make a dedication to someone special, send your requests to Karen Belcher: uzume95@yahoo.com. This is a no-charge event; doors open at 5:30 pm and the event starts at 6 pm. There will be prizes for the winning table (everyone gets to play)! Finally, if you love singing or hearing others sing their hearts out, Karaoke will be happening in the Ballroom on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 5:30 pm. Bring one of your favorite songs or one of your favorite people with whom to share this musical evening. You won't be disappointed when you hear our talented residents cast their musical spells on everyone. We're so fortunate to have such giftedness in the neighborhood!
