Did you know that the Dress Code in the Restaurant has been revised – and relaxed? The Ad Hoc committee for Rules and Regulations has spent the last two years modernizing and updating the community rules and these are now in place. Here are some highlights for the restaurant dress code. Clothing: Wearing golf shoes clear of debris is allowed in the Clubhouse and Restaurant, with the exception of metal spikes. Shirts and shoes must be worn throughout the entire Clubhouse including the Veranda. No swim wear will be allowed in the Clubhouse without a cover up except to use the restroom or locker room. Restaurant Dress Code: Country Club Casual is appropriate throughout the Restaurant & Lounge areas unless otherwise noted. • Men: Shirts with collars, dress collarless shirts, or mock-neck shirts with sleeves, slacks, dress denim, Bermuda-length golf shorts. • Women: Dresses, skirts, slacks, dress denim, Bermuda-length shorts with a golf shirt or blouse. • Hats may be worn; however it is recommended that patrons remove hats before entering the Restaurant. Attire not permitted in the Restaurant and Lounge: Cutoffs, short shorts, tank tops, bare midriffs, halter tops, bathing suits, spandex, or clothing with offensive words/graphics. Did you know there is a new link on our website that lists all the homes for sale within Sun Lakes only? This was a recommendation made by the Marketing Advisory Committee and is on the public side of our website so that anyone considering moving into Sun Lakes can see what's available. It is NOT managed by a real estate company nor is it searchable. It's a PDF that is updated every Thursday and gives the address of the listing, a little information, and the price. The intent behind this is to entice prospective buyers by showing them what's available within the community. There is a sentence included that says "If you would like more information on any of these homes, please contact a local Realtor." Check it out at www.sunlakescc.com. You don't have to sign in, just click the tab at the top labeled Community Information. A drop-down menu will show a few choices including Homes for Sale. Click on that and you're in. Did you know that golf carts DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY when crossing the street from one hole to the next? At every crossing there is a stop sign on the cart path for the golfers. The street traffic has the right of way and the golfers must stop to let the traffic go by. So please don't wave the golfers through. While your thoughtfulness is appreciated, please keep the street traffic moving smoothly. Golfers, remember to stop before you cross from one hole to the next. It's your responsibility.
