4 SOLERA DIAMOND VALLEY | MARCH 2024 Community Updates By Tyler Barber, Property Services Manager e New Lodge Security In case you missed it, the Association has released the patrol Vendor in favor of electronic security. This brings in a new system with cameras, motion sensors, and a PA system. The cameras will always be active and recording, but the burglar system will only be activated for after open hours (9 pm to 7 am). Though the systems are not always actively monitored, whenever the alarm is tripped, the appropriate contact will be notified to assess the situation and determine the best course of action (e.g., notify law enforcement, etc.). The exterior cameras, with assistance from AI, can differentiate human motion from other motions, meaning that the PA system will not blare out at any sort of movement. In fact, upon human motion detection, it will announce to the intruder that the area is closed and to leave immediately. This system will be overlooking the outdoor pool decks, the tennis courts, and the pickleball courts. Violations: Opened- 16 ; Closed- 14 Action Items (information is accurate as of Feb. 5; please refer to the Front Desk for any updates) • The electronic security system is being installed around the Lodge. We are currently waiting for cameras to be put up overlooking the courts and the back patio. • We are currently waiting for a response from the pickleball court Vendor in regard to the cracking on the court. • We are waiting for the concrete Vendor to schedule a date to replace two slabs along the paseo. On behalf of the Board of Directors, as we are into the new year may you have good health, friendships both old and new. We are in an interesting time in America. Many different issues are occurring both good and bad. Many of the bad issues we cannot control. It is important, health-wise, to dwell on the positive things that happen in our lives such as family and friends. Our "island" is a great place to live, with friendships and activities. I would encourage you to be involved in whatever "floats your boat" such as, pickleball, tennis, or bocce ball. Clubs and groups need to be creative at this time while the Lodge remodeling occurs. Consider meeting outdoors weather permitting. It is important to stay active. Once again, we will see you around the neighborhood. Board Report By Robert Vise, BOD President, Resident Continued from previous page GM Report • Paseo, North Park, and South ParkAccess to the gym will be available through the designated gym door near the patio area.
