The Sun Lakes Charitable Foundation's first sold-out event for 2024 was the English Garden Party Tea. The ladies who attended had a wonderful afternoon enjoying champagne, tea, and delicious food. Weekend at Augusta, April 12 to 14, is upon us. Our final ticket sale dates are Wed., April 3 and Fri., April 5. See our ticket sellers from 3 to 6 pm both days in front of the Main Clubhouse. Kicking off the weekend on Fri., April 12, is a Green Jacket Affair – a gala with sit down dinner, music and dancing to Generations, prizes, and auctions — all for only $60. Saturday's Country Western Hoedown Monster Scramble will be great fun for one and all. Just $60 includes golf (green fees extra), lunch in the Ballroom, one raffle ticket and two Mulligans. Shenanigans and adult beverages will be available along the Executive Course. A lunch only option will be pre-sold for $20 (no tickets sold at the door). Sign up for this fantastic event at either Pro Shop. Wrapping up the weekend on April 14 is Sunday at Augusta. Only 100 tickets will be sold for a reverse raffle to win a brand new (red) golf cart built for us by The Cart Guy. These $150 tickets will include one lucky number, two door prize tickets and appetizers for two. We're planning lots of golf related games and giveaways to increase the fun and will be showing the 2024 Masters Tournament on a really BIG screen. ($25 appetizer and door-prize tickets will also be sold for those of you who don't need a beautiful golf cart). The weekend of June 7-9 we will have many of our tried and true events from past Charity Weeks and we will be introducing a brand new event the weekend of Sept. 27-29, as well as our very popular Fashion Show.
