The candidate forum was very well-attended, despite a couple of
technical difficulties. Excellent questions that were reviewed by a
panel of five delegates were presented by the residents that were able
to attend. The residents who were not able to attend can view it on
Channel 97. The candidates did well, and I hope if you attended you
were able to get more insight into each candidate. By this time, you
have received, voted for, and returned your ballots that were mailed
to all residents on March 8.
Thank you to the residents who have returned their ballots and
exercised their right to participate in the voting process as a member
of Sun Lakes Country Club. The results are going to be tabulated and
certified on April 10 at 9 am in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. All
residents are welcome to attend the tabulation and certification of
the election results.
New residents may not know that we have 23 districts here in Sun
Lakes and each district is represented by a delegate and an alternate
delegate. The delegates (including myself ) are here to represent you.
If you have any questions or concerns we are available to take your
calls.
Not all residents know that Sun Lakes has many resources where
they can get information on events, our restaurant and lounge hours,
etc. Check out the Sun Lakes Country Club website, Good Day Sun
Lakes, Channel 97 and the Main Clubhouse Lobby always has flyers
