On Tuesday, May 28, the Petal Pushers will
be going to Waterwise Botanical Gardens
in Bonsall. There are acres of beautiful
nursery and growing grounds, including
demonstration gardens, ponds and a shade
house full of creative treasures. Wear comfy
shoes and bring your camera to capture this
plant lover's paradise. Afterward, we will
stop for lunch at the ever-popular Rainbow
Oaks Restaurant in Fallbrook.
We will be meeting at 9 am in the
Clubhouse parking lot to carpool. Please
RSVP by Tuesday, May 1, so that we can make
a lunch reservation. RSVP to Gloria Brosky
at (714) 292-8507 or goldenmom2finn@
gmail.com.
We hope you can join us. All Colony
residents are welcome!
What better way to enjoy the Mother's Day weekend than going to
or participating in a f lower show and shopping at a plant sale? The

Club Standard Flower Show and Plant Sale on Saturday, May 11.
The theme for this year is "Flights of Fancy — Let Your Imagination

TVGC is a non-profit club, and the f lower show is a major event
they offer as a community service to provide some horticultural
fun and gardening education for all ages. The exhibits include
horticultural, f loral design and youth exhibits. Everyone is welcome
to submit an entry.
The event is free and open to the public. It will be held at the
Temecula Community Recreation Center, 30875 Rancho Vista Road
in Temecula, and the hours are from 9 am to 3 pm.
