We had six couples on our West Coast Cruise. This was such a fun way to connect with friends and experience new adventures. In San Francisco, we explored Alcatraz. Not a place you would ever want to stay but so fascinating to visit. While in San Diego, a group of us visited the Midway. Wow, if you ever get down to San Diego, take the time to explore this ship! They have really done a great job with this exhibit. There are lots of Dosens to educate you on the ship and it's roll in U.S. history. While we were in Ensenada Mexico we took a bus trip to Rosarito Beach for shopping then up to Nuevo for lobster lunch. The entertainment and food on the ship was great! For our March Staycation, we had six couples that met up at Pechanga RV Park. They had a great time playing games and enjoying Temecula's great restaurants. We were blessed with good weather for both trips. With the cost of fuel going up these staycations are great quick getaway that doesn't break the bank. We have 13 RVs going to Bonelli Bluffs in May. We are making plans for a quick trip to Vista in June. Then our campers are off and running for the summer. This is when several make the trek across the country to the East Coast or North to Oregon, Washington, and beyond. Our fall trips are shaping up, beginning with the East Coast cruise in October. This is cruise is round trip from New York. There are still cabins available. November we are going to Coachella RV Resort, a beautiful new resort in the Coachella Valley. This year is really shaping up to be a lot of fun! Don't miss the boat! If you are looking to buy an RV come talk to us. Some members are retiring and selling their RVs. You can rent an RV and join us. Even better you don't need an RV to join us on the October cruise. Our next meeting is May 4 at 10 am. We meet in the Multipurpose Room at the Lodge. We welcome new members. You may just find the adventure of a life time. Get out there and enjoy this big, beautiful country and as always stay safe and Happy Camping. Wine Club In March, we enjoyed some magnificent selections from Italy. Purchased at Total Wine, each selection was $20 or under. We took a vote at the end of the evening, and it was amazing how many of us enjoyed the same selections. Good choices from our shoppers! Our raffle table was quite bountiful too! April Showers brought more delightful options from our great region. May will feature selections from Trader Joe's as we present another Neighborhood Shopping Spree. We hope you will join us on Thurs., May 25. New members most welcome. $30 for annual membership, $10 for monthly meeting, $15 for guests. Checks accepted. Please bring two wine glasses for tasting and anything fun you would like to share at your table. Ballroom doors open at 5:30 pm. Hope to see you there!
