10 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | MAY 2024 | Name: ____________________________________________________________________________________ Address: ___________________________________________________________________________________ Phone: ____________________________________________________________________________________ FREE SUNDAY BRUNCH FOR TWO AT THE BISTRO Not valid on holidays or special events. Limit ONE ENTRY per residence per month Happy May Day! I am hoping we are finally seeing spring at its best — offering us sunshine, warmth and flowers everywhere. There has been much discussion and hours spent trying to find a solution to the requests of the Bistro patrons about loud music, long tables and noise in general! We all have different likes and dislikes, we agree with some opinions and are adverse to others, some people enjoy eating outside others don't. So trying to appease everyone with opposite views is impossible! The best thing we can do is to try to offer something for both sides but at different times. For a test trial, our local "Jazz Group" will be playing music at Francisco's Friday night Special on May 24 in the Ballroom. If you are liking their music please show them by dropping something in their tip jar so they will want to return again. The other music group will gather on Monday mornings to share their talent with you and if you feel the music is too loud, please just ask nicely if they would play a little softer and they will. The other crack in the tea cup of life is the large group of people that eat at the Bistro every Tuesday and Thursday evening! These are residents of Four Seasons and have the right to eat there as much as any other resident. If there are 14 people they use seven tables, whether they are in a row or set up for couples. There is no space to add more tables and moving them into the Ballroom is not an option. When it warms up, "outside dining" will return and then we will have another area to enjoy our meal. Personally, I enjoy a nice meal about 3 or 3:30 pm, it's quiet, so we can meet and talk and we are in and out before the dinner rush. Just a thought, but try, it you just might like it too. The ticket for Free Sunday Brunch for Two was drawn by Greg Rockvam. Congratulations goes to Diane Kang. That's me, Patt double "T" Bistro Committee Facilities Committee The Facilities Committee encourages residents to communicate with them about facilities issues by submitting a form, attending a meeting, or both. To that end, the committee has generated a Facilities Committee Communication Form which is available at the desk in the lobby or online at https://fourseasonshemet. connectresident.com. The online form may be filled out and emailed or turned in at the desk in the lobby. The following are four suggestions to submit a more effective communication: • Identify and describe the situation, problem, or opportunity that your communication addresses, • Provide history and facts to document your communication, • If your communication involves a change, suggest a plan for implementing your idea, • Cite your sources and provide references if needed. We hope residents will take advantage of this change to bring fresh ideas to improve our community.
