26 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | MAY 2024 | WIT (Women In Touch) The WIT ladies share a common bond – the loss of the love of their life. Our dinner meeting provides a special social interaction and helps to rekindle old and new friendships. The WIT Team gathers once a month in the Bistro for dinner. Our dinner orders are "called in" to the Bistro between 2 to 4 pm. When we gather at 5 pm, our orders are already being prepared and are ready to deliver to each attendee. We are a support group. Please accept our invitation to join us if you are a widow in need of a social connection and loving care. If you have any questions regarding WIT, please contact Brenda Beers at (951) 306-6670 or Jeanne Lincoln at (951) 765-7112. April WIT Dinner Meeting All the rain in March did not keep the women from the Ladies Club from enjoying several outings. A small but adventurous group enjoyed a visit to the Hemet Museum in the old Santa Fe Train Depot. The history of the Hemet Valley is diverse and interesting including the large agricultural component, prominent families, train travel, Indian life and characters. Both Arlene Marton and Janice Record shared about their lives in the valley as residents back in the day. The museum is well worth a stop some afternoon. We had a great lunch at the Downtown Deli on Harvard Street. We attended a movie to see Arthur the King. It is a heartwarming story based on a true story about adventure racing and a dog that adopted the team and against all odds followed the group through the wilds of the Dominican Republic. Great lunch at Stadium Pizza. At the end of the month we attended e Importance of Being Ernest by Oscar Wilde at the Ramona Hillside Playhouse in Hemet. Come check out our group at our regular monthly meeting on the fourth Monday every month at 1:30 in the Ballroom. You can text Julie Rodriquez at (951) 821-1970 or email her at maxsmom0225@yahoo.com for more information. Our motto: Having fun, being positive, staying energized and giving back to the community. FS Ladies Club American Sign Language The Hemet Four Seasons American Sign Language class celebrated one year of learning ASL in October at the Rocking K restaurant.
