FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MAY 2024 5 Message From The Board I'm sure most of you have met our FirstService Residential (FSR) management staff. We contract for three management personnel. They are Eric Zarr, our General Manager, Lynne Cesario, our Assistant General Manager, and Cindy Graves, our Activities Director. Eric Zarr runs our community like a pro. He diligently oversees the day-to-day operations to ensure we enjoy our resort community. He manages a staff of approximately 20 employees and works countless hours putting together not only information for the Board of Directors, but for many of the committees to help our meetings run smoothly. Eric brings a vast knowledge of civil code and laws that apply to Homeowners Associations (HOAs) and can make informed decisions when asked challenging questions. Lynne Cesario came to Four Seasons Beaumont with a strong financial background and a wealth of knowledge in HOA management. Lynne works alongside Eric, overseeing the day-to-day operations and staff. She ensures all our bills are paid and monies are moved from reserves when applicable. She is Eric's backup (when he is out of the office) and prepares board and committee information for meetings as well. I'm sure this next person needs no introduction. Cindy Graves has been at Four Seasons almost since inception. She and her activities group put together everything that happens in our community from dances to concerts to craft fairs, and even paper shredding events. Cindy manages her activities budget and can plan an amazing amount of fun at the drop of a hat (and make it look effortless) that everyone enjoys! In addition to our on-site staff, we also utilize FSR Investments. We have a dedicated financial expert who protects our portfolio of investments and makes recommendations when Certificates of Deposit are ready to expire. Our advisor has contributed to wise investments and has increased our portfolio at a steady rate. Our financial reports are prepared by an FSR representative who is dedicated to Four Seasons Beaumont. These detailed reports give the Finance Committee and the Board of Directors a monthly snapshot of our finances and reserves where we can make educated financial decisions. Along with all the aforementioned people, we have a group of wonderful Lodge, Courts, and Summit attendants who are there to assist. They all work hard to provide a welcoming environment with a smile. The Board meets the second Thursday of each month at 1 pm in the Ballroom and we encourage everyone to attend. Per civil code, the Board cannot engage in conversation with any homeowner input. If you prefer a less formal meeting, Meet with the Board is a more intimate setting where the Board can engage in conversation with you on almost anything you wish to discuss (except any issues currently under litigation). Meet with the Board is the third Wednesday of each month at 2 pm in the Ballroom.
