| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MAY 2024 | 59 Women's Golf Sun Lakes Women's Golf Club is ready for spring! This month we hold our Member-Guest Tournament on May 9. The theme is "Viva Las Vegas" and will include a visit from the ultimate Las Vegas showman – Elvis! This event is a favorite as it gives us the opportunity to invite our golfing sisters from other clubs to come spend the day with us, golf our beautiful course, enjoy a great luncheon, and win lots of prizes. The rest of the month is a three-week Eclectic Tournament where one gets to improve her final score every week. Obviously, this is another favorite! If you would like to play in these kinds of tournaments, then we invite you to join us. We play 18 holes on the Championship Golf Course every Thursday and on the first Saturday of the month. Our club is open to all women golfers who live in Sun Lakes and includes a mix of beginner, intermediate, and advanced golfers. Our common denominator is the love of golf and having fun. Ladies Executive Golf The LEGS club is a fun-loving group of ladies who enjoy getting together every Tuesday morning at the Executive Golf Course to play a round of golf with their friends. You have a choice of either playing nine or 18 holes and we take our game seriously, but we also play for fun. Our putting contests are always fun and our March contest resulted in a three-way tie between Lynn Domme, Evon Montague, and Kay Rawle. At each monthly business/luncheon, the ladies celebrating their birthday are presented with a "goodie" birthday bag and then we get to enjoy the delicious meal prepared by Chef Michael from Gourmet Your Way. We invite you to come out and play a round of golf with our fun- loving ladies.
