Flags, fathers and fun! I have shared with you all before how I get emotional when discussing the American flag. It has always represented being a part of something bigger than myself, something I stand up for. Flag day, June 14, is approaching and this is a great time to take a look at the flag you are flying, make sure it is in good condition. Once you have replaced it, please bring the retired flag to The Lodge and it will get properly disposed of. Thank you to Orville Ellingworth for taking our flags to the VFW. Father's Day … My own father has passed, but I am grateful for the men who have encouraged and taught me with a father's heart. You can enjoy some yummy Bistro deals in The Lodge this Father's Day. We have so much fun in June. Juneteenth, Music on the Plaza and a great play by the Four Seasons Players.
