FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2024 5 Message From The Board Our 2024 Board of Directors election is now over and Kathy Craven, Alton Gray, Gracy Luna, and Larry Workman have been elected to a two-year term beginning May 2. Congratulations to the three returning Board members, and to Alton Gray who will be the new member to the Board. There was a Board of Directors "boot camp" in May conducted by an attorney from the law firm that represents us. This is a training session that familiarizes our Board members with the current laws affecting the HOA, the do's and don'ts of being a Board member, and many other areas of Board member responsibility. This is part of the ongoing training received by members of our Board of Directors. The Request for Proposals has been sent out to contractors on the repair of our roads. So many streets were designated as needing various levels of repair that our General Manager Eric Zarr and approximately four contractors walked our roadways in order to get a comprehensive bid. Once bids are received, they will be reviewed and sent for approval for a contract for the work to be signed. We will work with the contractor to ensure that the worst roads will be repaired first. As the bid is approved and the contract is signed, we will update our residents to the repair schedule, what streets will be affected, when the repair will be done, and when the roads will be closed. It will take some time to repair the roadways throughout the community, but we will keep you informed through the Daily Report and by handouts prepared by the construction company with the important locations, dates, and times. We thank you in advance for your patience during the long- awaited, and definitely much needed road-repair project. The Solar Project for our three facility buildings and RCN building has been approved by Southern California Edison, and now the solar company will apply for permits from the City of Beaumont in order to begin the project. Once the permits are received, the solar company will advise us on the start date, locations to be worked on, in what order, and the expected completion date. Coordination on these two large projects, road repair and solar, will be important to minimize the confusion on work to be performed and in what order. More information will be available when the dates for and locations of each project are developed. By Jerry Monahan, Board President Your 2024-2025 Board of Directors (L-R): Joe Barletta, Jerry Monahan, Kathy Craven, Barry Ginnetti, Larry Workman, Gracy Luna, and Alton Gray
