DAILY REPORT If you're not receiving Four Seasons Beaumont daily emails/Activities Blasts, email issues@fourseasonsbeaumont. org to be added to the list of recipients. Being on the list is especially important in order to receive warnings and updates related to emergencies in our area (ie., Nov. 2023 Lamb Fire evacuation warnings). REMINDERS A reminder I give at each Open Session Board Meeting is to slow down. Once you are home behind the gates, speeding or not stopping at stop signs will only "save" you a few seconds of time. Speed limits are 30 mph on the Circle, 25 mph on all side streets, and 15 mph in parking lots. Please slow down and drive responsibly. Also please use the sidewalks if you're a pedestrian and wear visible clothing when it is dark outside. DOLLARS AND CENTS At the April Board meeting the following projects and bids were approved. Please note in parentheses is the Committee that generated the proposal and then stating either an Operational expense which comes from this year's dues, or a Reserve expense: • New plantings in the Springdales - $1,004 (Landscape/Park West Credit) • Phase A Plantings - $1,294 (Landscape/Park West Credit) • New Plantings in Phase E & EE - $1,470 (Landscape/Park West Credit) • Carpet Replacement for Additional Rooms - Carpet to be replaced in the Theater, Library, Bistro, Lodge & RCN Office for $63,176.33 (Facilities/Reserve Expense) • ADA Door Opening System Spa Building Restrooms - $9,217.65 (Facilities/Capital Expense) • Electronic Blower Battery Pack & Accessories - $1,706.21 (Facilities/Capital Expense) • Park West was awarded the contract for smart controller upgrades throughout the community in the amount of $400,350, which is a Reserve expense.
