Some of the cards our five groups will be making this season include graduation cards, Vacation and Bon Voyage cards, Fourth of July cards and Summer themed cards. Our TOTES group will continue learning about the Cricut machines and all the wonderful ways to make cards, decals, and many other cray items. e photos displayed here are: Paper Flowers in Vase by TOTES; Ink Blending backgrounds with Silhouette Stamping cards by group 3, and Stained-Glass Layouts with 3D Coneflower focal point cards by group 4. And all month long, wish one of your favorite RVers or adventurers a very happy National Camping Month. Until next month, happy craing! Respectfully submitted by Debbie Cea Papercrafting Club In our June general meeting the Photo Club plans to run a slideshow of the work we did in shooting the Garden Tour at the end of May (hope May Gray eases up some so the flowers can thrive) and in shooting the Monarch Butterfly Garden. We'll plan to share our results with the Garden Club and with the Save the Monarch Butterfly Club. Details of how to submit photos will be sent via email. Towards the beginning of July, each member is invited to submit some photos (no more than three) for display in the Art Room. Instructions on how to prepare your photos for this will be sent via email, but the target date will be July 6 at 9 am, so start thinking about what you would like to submit, get some frames organized, etc. e Art Room experts will choose what photos they want to display and will decide how to organize them. Our photos will be on display for three months. In April, we solicited volunteers to form a committee to take on the task of renewing the display of photos in the hallway leading to the pool area. Sherri McDaniel, Marcie Geisser and Chuck Fasilis were gracious enough to volunteer. e committee will determine the theme for the display (not "Reflections") and will coordinate the solicitation and collection of photos for the effort. ey'll probably find some non-OHCC photo experts to select the best photos for the display. e timeline for this effort is still fluid, but with any luck we'll have a new set of photos in the hallway in the first quarter of 2025. If this project interests you, we would welcome additional help from the membership. Our next Photo Club general meeting will be June 20 at 1 pm in the Lamia Room. Note that there are no Photo Club general meetings in July and August, but nothing stops you from taking lots of photos then.
