Club W is a widow's group that can lead you to seek out others
with the same life experience. We offer you emotional comfort,
positive support, understanding, and friendship as you learn
how to live without the person with whom you intended to spend
the rest of your life. We want you to know you are not alone.
Connecting with other widowed people makes the challenges of
surviving a spouse or partner a little easier to manage.
You will discover an unexpected glimpse of hope for your
future. What an immediate sense of relief when you are sitting
in front of someone else who is also widowed. It will give you the
freedom to express yourself freely. ese widows know what is
like to climb into "our" bed. alone. Find out your terrible sadness
is normal, while also beginning to build a new life of meaning
while honoring the past.
Meet us on the third Saturday of most months at 10 am for
a social gathering in Abravanel Hall for coffee and interesting
speakers. Membership is $10/year. We are here for you if you
want hope for the future. Please don't hesitate to contact us. We
do not meet in July or August. Our Summer Potluck is Sat., July
27, in the Palm Court from 4:30 to 7:30 pm. If you would like to
