KNIT & CROCHET CLUB
How many of us have a crocheted doily, tablecloth, bedspread or other
antique crochet item that was passed down to us by a grandmother, mom,
or aunt? I know I do — they're tucked away in a Hope Chest. Our member,
Rafea, brought this beautiful antique crocheted doily to share with our
group. It is truly amazing to think of the craftsmanship and time it took
to work with a thread-type yarn to make these heirlooms. We thought
hers was an exceptional and rare example of this art. If you have a similar
example tucked away, we would love to see it at our Knit and Crochet Club.
We meet Thursdays from 10 am to 12 pm.
