FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2024 29 The ARC Committee works hard to make our application process simple and easy to complete. We take great care to ensure that we only collect the information that is necessary to review your application(s) and to render a fair and accurate decision. By providing the requested materials and forms, your application can be processed at a single meeting. Please make sure that you have the most recent revision of the application form. This can be found on the website www.fourseasonsbeaumont.org or at The Lodge front desk or the management office in the RCN. Any forms included in your closing documents or received from a prior owner are almost certain to be outdated. Be sure to include the application, the check list, a plot map showing all dimensions, description of all materials to be used (including samples or brochures), and a photo of the home where the work will be done. The photo should show the entire view of the house and the area where the work will be done. If you are building a structure, please provide a complete description including dimensions and, if possible, a plan. Applications to install solar systems, hot tubs, water filtering systems, grills, patio covers, storage sheds, lights, air conditioners and similar items should include manufacturers' brochures whenever possible. Please review the material you submit and be aware that the application is reviewed in a meeting that is open to the public and may be viewed by your neighbors. Often applications include purchase prices and contract information. While including this information will not affect your application, you may not want other homeowners to know what you paid. The management staff tries to redact all credit card and credit information but cannot guarantee that something will not be missed and distributed during the ARC meeting. ARC meets the first and third Wednesdays of every month in the RCN Conference Room at 8:30 am. All homeowners are welcome. If you have questions, please contact me. ~ Steve Cooley, (801) 815-5302, cooleyaudit@gmail.com Architectural Review Committee Finance Committee During the Finance Committee's regular monthly meeting, the financial statements for May 2024 were reviewed and recommended for Board approval. In addition, we reviewed expenditure proposals for various recommended projects in the community. We also reviewed investment recommendations to move maturing investments to higher yield FDIC insured instruments. Highlights of the May financial statements are: Total Cash is $13,655,724 including operating cash of $2,255,083 (checking and CDs), reserve assets of $10,964,086, and reconstruction assets of $436,555. Our total year-to-date income is $284,009. Homeowners are welcome to join us at the Finance Committee's regularly scheduled monthly meetings held on the last Tuesday of each month. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024, at 1 pm. The Finance Committee reviews and discusses many issues that you may have questions about. I would encourage all residents to become more familiar with the finances of our beautiful community. We would love to hear about your concerns and encourage you to share them with us. Attending a meeting only takes a little time and will give you a better understanding of how we operate. Our meetings are held in the RCN Conference Room.
