FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2024 7
As the Beaumont Pointe Warehouse Project has been approved
by the City Council of Beaumont, the land for the facility will now
need to be annexed into the City of Beaumont. The annexation is
important to the development of the project in order to allow the
warehouse project to utilize the City of Beaumont sewer system.
This annexation will occur first so that the construction of the
hotel, recreation area, and the warehouse facilities can begin. The
completion of these facilities is several years away at this time. More
information will be provided as the project moves forward.
The Banning Warehouse Project is progressing as scheduled. The
Pass Action Group (PAG) had a Town Hall meeting on July 2 in the
Sun Lakes Ballroom. An update about the case and the upcoming
events were given to the attendees. The information presented and
action considered was in preparation of the July 9 hearing at the
Banning City Council to reconsider their earlier approval of the
warehouse project. This earlier approval was struck down by the
court, and requires a review of the developer's request for approval
to go forward.
At the time of this article's submission to the Breeze, the decision
by the Banning City Council had not been finalized. The information
on the request for approval and the Banning City Council's decision
will be reported as the information becomes available.
