The RV Roadrunners escaped the heat and had a great trip to
Santee Lakes, living up to our slogan of "Warning, Unsupervised
Seniors." There were two breakfast spreads, one hosted by Glenn and
Joanie Sailer and one by Lisa and Laurie. We had a potluck planned,
but instead decided to go to the local Costco for dinner, then back
to the campground for dessert. Now that is camping Roadrunner
style! We also took the trolley from Santee to San Diego and enjoyed
lunch in Old Town, and rounded out our stay gathering each night for
cocktails and some competitive cornhole.
The last trip for 2024 is Nov. 10 -14 to Coachella Lakes RV Resort in
Indio. We are busy planning the agenda, including a ride on the Palm
Springs tram, with lunch and a catered dinner at the RV Park. If this
sounds like fun and you want more information on the Roadrunners
RV Club, please give me a call. Owning an RV is not required, as we
have many "Glampers" who stay in cabins or hotels.
