4 SOLERA DIAMOND VALLEY | AUGUST 2024
Community Updates By Tyler Barber, Property Services Manager
I must admit that it has grown quite hot this summer. I have
certainly felt it during my last Community inspection. Be sure
to remember to keep cool and drink water! (Maybe wear some
sunscreen while you are at it.) As rough as the sun is on you, the sun
is equally rough on your landscaping. Take special care to keep your
landscaping in good condition.
Violations: Opened- 7; Closed- 11
Action Items (information is accurate as of June 11)
• The zip ties holding the trespassing signs up along the Paseo
are to be riveted on or screwed on, and the missing signs are to
be added to appropriate areas.
• The Association is going out to bid for Vendors for the mailbox
security project.
• Two concrete walkways need to be grinded or replaced.
• The seat in the women's locker room shower is to be properly
corrected.
• The tall chairs by the billiards tables are to be fitted with non-
slip pads.
In July the new budget began. The newest budget runs till June 30, 2025. Besides
the normal expenses, the BOD budgeted for lights and cameras on all mailboxes in
hopes that break-ins will stop.
The new look of the Lodge lobby and Ballroom with new chairs looks great. As of
this writing (July 2), we are waiting for an installation date for the new drapes.
After the remodeling of the lodge, the Reserve Fund is looking well-funded. The RSI
company, which does an on-site review of our assets every three years, was impressed
with the funding percentage we are currently at. They said the fund was very healthy.
On behalf of the BOD, we would like to thank each member of our committees, and
the amount of your time spent making recommendations to the BOD and helping
keep things running smoothly. Without you, we would be very hard-pressed to
operate successfully. Enjoy the rest of your summer.
