Makua Hula Hawaiian Dancers
The Makua Hula Hawaiian Dancers sincerely thank our Sun Lakes
friends who joined at our show, A Hui Hou ~ Until We Meet Again.
Makua would like to do a shout out thanking our guest performers
Lori and Lisa, Sheila James, Kelly Iliff, Lance Alloway, and LaVonne
Jongerius for sharing their musical and comedic talent with us. A
huge hug for Lloyd Friedman who graciously served as our Master
of Ceremonies. Lloyd, you are one-of-a-kind and a true friend of
Makua.
Equally important are our behind-the-scenes team who
make our shows spectacular. A tremendous thank you to
Stephanie Franklin, whose backstage direction got us to our
places on time and signaled our lights and music crew so
efficiently. Dave Klaus made us shine with our stage lighting
and was diligent in opening and closing our stage curtains.
Our dances are not possible without our sound man Mark
Faber who made sure our guest performers had working
microphones and our songs were played on cue. Thank you
Bob Murri for capturing our performance on video. Pat
Echelberger, you greeted our guests and sold tickets for us
on show day. You are all so appreciated. No doubt more was
done on everyone's part, all which went seamlessly in the
background to bring out the best in our show.
We also enjoyed Temecula's Puahi Polynesian dance
group who graced us with their exceptional talent.
Our next Sun Lakes performance will be during the Fall Follies. We
hope to see you in October.
Anyone interested in learning more about Hawaiian Hula dancing
