4 | OHCC LIVING | SEPTEMBER 2024 | Continued from previous page e Board held its Regular Monthly Meeting on July 18 and took the following actions: • Approved the Minutes of the meeting of June 20 • Approved the Minutes of the Executive Finance Committee meeting on June 24 • Approved the abbreviated financials for the period ending May 31, 2024 • Approved funds transfers exceeding $10,000 • Adopted an Image Statement and a Mission Statement as recommended by the Image and Marketing Committee • Reviewed a proposal by the SERT Club for additional storage • Authorized the removal of four pine trees near the 18th green by O'Connell at a cost not to exceed $2,135.60. e Board held an executive session on Aug. 12 and took the following actions: • Approved the Minutes of the executive session on July 15 • Levied a fine for failure to stop at a STOP sign • Discussed initiating non-judicial foreclosure on Accounts #P280121601700, #P280121610701 and #P280121615560 when the required period has elapsed • Denied a request for waiving of delinquency fees on account #P280121607330 • Discussed the replacement of the current transponder access system with an LPR or License Plate Recognition System at a cost not to exceed $69,744 which was placed on the agenda for the Regular Monthly Meeting • Authorized retaining the services of a geologist regarding excess water behind Tilos Way • Discussed a monthly soware license fee of $1,030 to operate the LPR system which was placed on the agenda for the Regular Monthly Meeting • Discussed modifying the terms of our contract with Berg Electric pending receipt of a proposal from them • Discussed the replacement of the barrier arm gates at all entrances and exits for an amount not to exceed $53,610 which was placed on the agenda for the Regular Monthly Meeting • Reviewed the turf rebate application • Discussed the terms of a General Contractor agreement with Well Tec to complete the lake project • Briefly reviewed the status of job descriptions, vacant positions and the Board's role relative to contracted personnel • Reviewed legal matters. It has been my honor to serve as the President of your Association for this term of the Board of Directors ending Aug. 15. By the time you receive this issue of OHCC Living we will have completed the annual meeting and election of Directors and the newly constituted Board will have chosen Association officers for the 2024-2025 term.
