July and August have gone by like the wind and here we are in September. I would like to express the July 4th parade being a success! It was great seeing everyone waiting out on their driveway to witness the parade. From certain feedback, I'll see if we can get some decorations on the lead vehicle. I've mentioned in my previous article about wildlife within the community. If you are involved in a dog situation, please get to safety and call 911 immediately. In addition to reporting a dog attack call (619) 299-7012 for the SD Humane Society and go to https://www.sdhumane.org/services/humane-law-enforcement/ and click on the form to file for an investigation for dog attacks. For rattlesnakes, please call this number (858) 756-3006 for the non-emergency line of the fire dept. Once you call that number, community patrol can respond and direct traffic to avoid the snake. Another friendly reminder for your furry companions is to check the weather report! Whether it's on the TV, newspaper, or on your handy dandy cell phone; it's helpful to see if it is safe to walk your dog or cat during the times you want to go out. Another safety concern is exiting the front gate onto Cannon Road. Please stop at the traffic light when it is red. ere are a lot of close calls in front. A lot of vehicles make U-turns at that light, so be careful when turning right. ank you, OHCC residents, for your vital role in our community. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in adhering to the rules. We are committed to serving you and the community; your feedback is invaluable. If you have any concerns or suggestions that you would like to see addressed in a future issue of OHCC Living magazine, we encourage you to share them. Please feel free to contact me via email or phone. My office at the front gate is always open for Ocean Hills Country Club residents.
