FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2024 59
Fishing Club
The month of July was really good for fishing. Jesse, Dennis, and
I went fishing at Diamond Valley Lake and caught a good number of
Big Mouth Bass. See the photo above, right.
I will tell you how the fishing was in August in next month's
article of the Breeze. I did get a chance to fish the Coachella canal
in Indio with my son RC. It was August and we started fishing at
5 pm that day. I checked the outside temperature and it was 116
degrees. We fished for three hours and caught our limit of catfish.
We practiced catch and release and put back all the fish we caught
in the canal. I had a great time and quality time with my son is what
fishing is all about.
My grandson is visiting from Idaho in August. I already have two
fishing trips planned for him. He has never fished so this should be
real special for him. I will let you know how he did in the October
Breeze.
Tight lines to all my fishing buddies and friends. Remember
family fishing time is always special, even if you don't catch a fish.
Memories, my friends, is what life is all about. ~ Richard Carrasco,
