40 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2024
Hot August Nights at The Lodge pool was a blast. It was so fun to see people dancing on the pool deck while singers
were singing and people were dancing in the pool. What a fun night. We will do this again next year! I have requested
pool dance party dates for next summer in June, July, and August. More to follow on this once approved. September's
theme was the British Invasion and we will bring in a Halloween theme for October. Karaoke is held every first Tuesday
and third Saturday of the month and it starts at 5 pm in the Ballroom. If you are looking to try something new, come
out and give it a try. You might be the next superstar! ~ Dave Rohrbacker, Dave.Rohrbacker@icloud.com
Karaoke
Step back in time and groove to the classic beats at the Old School
Dance & Activity Club! This club brings a nostalgia-packed evening
filled with music, movement, and memories from days when we
were young with music from the 60s and 70s like Frankie Avalon's
Venus and Rock 'n Roll with Mick Jagger!
Join us on the fourth Thursday of every month at The Lodge
Ballroom from 3 to 5 pm and let the good times roll. We will also
educate you on the history of those old-school songs we all know and
love. It's not only about dancing, but also loving every minute of it!
It's about understanding the roots and stories behind the music that
shaped an entire generation. For more info, contact Willa Harris at

Old School Dance
Another month has come and gone and we're now in the full fall
season. A new class started last month. I've learned many new
dances over the summer and look forward to teaching. We have
a Barn Burner coming up on Nov. 2 so if you plan to attend please
RSVP so I can set up for enough people. I look forward to seeing
many of you at the Barn Burner.
Classes are held each Monday from 1 to 3 pm in the Ballroom and
each Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 pm to accommodate those who still
work. Come see for yourself what this line dancing craze is all about.
You are never too old to learn something new. ~ Janine Rohrbacker,
