FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2024 7
As we reported last month, the Banning City Council voted three
to two on July 9 to direct staff to submit a resolution to deny the
Banning Warehouse Project.
The meeting to hear the resolution was scheduled for Aug. 27
but was pushed back until Sept. 10. Legal fees are continuing with
the latest Motion by the developers. The PAG has requested that
anyone interested in donating to assist them in their legal fund, can
send donations to the Pass Action Group, 4832 Crenshaw Circle,
Banning, CA 92220.
The Pass Action Group thanks our residents who have been
supporting the legal process by their donations.
As of the writing of this article, the hearing on Sept. 20 and the
decision of the City Council in Banning, is not available. Additional
information will be provided in next month's Breeze.
The Beaumont Pointe Warehouse Project is currently moving
forward. The request for approval of the annexation of the
warehouse property through LAFCO, Local Agency Formation
Commission, is underway.
When approved, the warehouse property would be entitled to be
part of the city of Beaumont's sewer system. No decision has been
made at this time. More information will be reported as it becomes
available.
