Tickets On Sale Now In e Savannah Sipping Society, four middle-aged ladies come together in an impromptu happy hour to reclaim the enthusiasm for life they've lost through the years, trading life stories, commiserating about their issues, but most of all to have fun and learn how to enjoy life again. It's not just women who'll enjoy this play. ree men wrote the play, they had a mother, sister, aunt or friend who resembled these characters. e men in the audience will probably feel the same. Each of the women is at a juncture in their life. Sixty-something "Dot", Noreen Scott, recently lost her husband, just when they were planning an idyllic retirement enjoying their "golden years" together. "MarlaFaye', Sandy "Pita" Lubbers, is a 57-year-old divorcee whose husband ran o with a much younger woman. "Randa", Victoria Tarabochia, is a 49-year-old career woman who has never had time for a family and has just recently been laid o from her job. "Jinx", Alice Gilbert, is the catalyst who brings the other three women together and shows that they need to bring fun and adventure back into their lives. Sandy Tin, who recently performed in our production of Ripcord, is directing this play. Sandy said, "While I enjoy being on stage, I realize that it is very important to take on the directing role occasionally too. Plus, it gives newer members an opportunity to enjoy performing! Most of my theater experience was with e Chino Community eatre. is will be my third directing eort with 4SP. I love comedy and this is very funny! Y'all come see it!" Roberta Feigenbaum recently joined 4SP as a sound designer. Roberta is a composer and musician who also plays jazz bass with our in-house jazz ensemble, Jazz@Four (Dave Tuvim, piano; Jim Robo, guitar; Larry Foster, drums). Roberta's background includes (as composer) jazz album, "Russian Peasant" | Solo Piano | Alan Pasqua, as well as sound design and original music for theater, musical theater, and indie lms. She will be joining our dedicated theatrical sound team of Ross Brunetto and Bob Walker, while working in sync with director Sandy Tin to bring even more detailed sound and music to this production.
