MULTI-DAY EXCURSIONS Oct. 16 – 31: Greek Isles, Italy & France • Dec. 15 – 17: Hearst Castle at Christmas Health & More TECH TALK Wednesday, Oct. 9, 9 to 10 am in the Meeting Room. If you need help with The Colony Box Office or have questions about your cellphone or tablet, come to the Meeting Room the second Wednesday of each month and we will help you. There is no cost to attend and no need to RSVP. CAREGIVERS SUPPORT GROUP ursday, Oct. 10, 10 am in the Lounge. Presented by Kristi Necochea, this group educates and supports those who are caring for a loved one with any ailment. We meet the second Thursday of each month. HEARING AID CHECK ursday, Oct. 17, 9 to 10:30 am. This free service is provided by Johnson & Johnson every third Thursday of the month in the Clubhouse Card Room. RESTORATIVE YOGA WITH MELISSA - MIND & BODY Tuesdays, 8:30 am; ursdays, 7 pm in the Annex. First class is $15 and may be used toward membership. Membership is $80 per month and includes two classes per week. Drop-ins are $15 per session. Ten memberships per month minimum to retain instructor. Beginners welcome. CALLING ALL CRAFTERS Applications for tables at the 28th Annual Craft Fair, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 9, are now being accepted from Colony crafters. Applications may be submitted via eblast or in-person at the Activities Office. Tables will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis. If there are any available tables remaining on Monday, Oct. 7, applications will be accepted from family members of Colony residents, who must be accompanied by the Colony resident. If you would like to choose your location in the auditorium or lounge, the activities oce will begin accepting those requests on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 8:30 am. MURRIETA MESA HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE SEASON It's Senior Citizen Days at Murrieta Mesa High School with special Colony pricing. Please see Kara in the Activities Office for tickets. The Gershwin Performing Arts Center is located at Murrieta Mesa High School, 24801 Monroe Avenue, Murrieta. Oct. 24, 25, 26, 29 & 30 at 7 pm – It's a Wonderful Life. Tickets are $5 per person. Feb. 8, 2025, at 2 pm - e Enchanted Bookshop. March 8 & 15, 2025, at 2 pm - Mamma Mia. Tickets are $3 per person. PRIMARY POLLING PLACE Saturday through Tuesday, Nov. 2 through 5 in the Auditorium. All other events have been relocated or canceled. JONNIE FOX AND THE SATINETTES CHRISTMAS REVIEW Sunday, Dec. 1. Auditorium doors open at 6:30 pm and the show starts at 7 pm. With glamour, style, tight harmonies, and rich vocals, Jonnie Fox and the Satinettes cover Legendary Female Artists and Famous Girl Groups of the 50s and 60s, including Leslie Gore, Brenda Lee, Patsy Cline, Dusty Springfield, Eydie Gormé, the Crystals, Chiffons, Shangri-las, The Toys, Ronettes, The Poni-Tails, The Supremes and more. Tickets are $15 per person.
