26 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | NOVEMBER 2024 | Golf Cart Club: Our Halloween Golf Cart Parade was held on Oct. 27, four days before Halloween! Refreshments and goodies were provided during the cart/costume review social. The social was a good time to check out the carts and costumes up close and chat with friends and neighbors. The creativity and craftsmanship of our residents are really remarkable! The parade lasted about 40-45 minutes. Flag Angels: The Flag Angels will have put up flags throughout the entire community for Indigenous Peoples' Day on Oct. 14. Over 1,500 flags will have been put up and taken down over the three day weekend. A couple of months ago, I promised that I would highlight each of these "Angels" in the Herald over the next few months. This month, John and Coleen Ferguson will be featured. They have been placing flags for over eight years. John and Coleen are always so positive and ready to help. I always know that they will get it done! They are longtime residents of Four Seasons and moved here from Temecula. Their route covers World Cup and the northern half of Four Seasons. If you know or recognize these Angels, give them a well-deserved "thank you" the next time you see them. Four new angels will have put up flags for the first time for Indigenous Peoples Day: Victoria Danner and Shirley and Jerry Etemadfar will be helping Tom and Bonnie Moore with the cul de sacs off of Stephenson, and Robin Fournier will take over Scotty's route (area south of the third hole). If you know them, give them a big "thank you!" As you can see, the Flag Angels ranks are constantly changing. Anyone that is interested in being an Angel, I could use a volunteer or two as substitutes. We have recently lost a number of angels due to assorted reasons.
