| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | DECEMBER 2024 | 3 General Manager's Message By Rick Ruth, CMCA The holiday season is upon us! Each year, we look forward to this holiday season for many reasons. The Holiday Decorating committee has beautifully decorated the hallways, Lobby, Library, Multipurpose Room, and the Arts & Crafts Room. Several trees will be in the Lobby adorned with gift tags for underprivileged children. We encourage residents to pick up a gift tag. The presents you purchase help provide joy to children who otherwise might not receive them. This year's charity event is the "Charity Holiday Luncheon." The Valley Restart Center is the beneficiary of this year's proceeds. Throughout the years, so many families have benefited from these organizations and your generosity, and we thank you for that! As in years past, the Board approved funding to decorate the outside of The Lodge, Gazebo, and our Main & World Cup entrances with lighting and colorful decorations. I encourage all of you to come and see the beautifully decorated Lodge and its surroundings. We are blessed with many giving, generous people who dedicate a lot of their time to this endeavor. As this year and my tenure as your G.M. draws to a close, I want to thank you for your continued support in allowing me to serve your community for the past 17 years. There is not enough space on this page to thank everyone I've had the pleasure of serving all these years. I would like to acknowledge our dedicated Management Staff members who, without their collective efforts, would make managing your community very difficult, if not impossible. Those individuals who make this happen are: • Mari Salazar, Assistant General Manager • Tracie Rodgers, Activities Director • Maria Donti, ARC/Administrative Assistant • Tim Gross, Facility Maintenance Coordinator • And our Lodge Attendants: Tracie Long, Diana Cayente, Angie & Emily Jara and last but certainly not least, our newest member Anahi Salazar. We are very fortunate to have a management staff that is passionate about providing the best customer service they can to each and every one of you. Our staff makes every effort to be good stewards of your money and they do their best to adapt to the challenges that come with managing the operations of an active adult community. I would be remiss if I didn't gratefully acknowledge our Board of Directors; Jim Crase, Barbra Balser, Cliff Post, Roxy Snider, Mary Reyna, Fred Kydd, and Rick Adkins, who give many hours of service to this community, and most importantly continue to give our staff their full support and encouragement. I wouldn't have made it this long if it wasn't for their support, friendship and respect. For that I will be forever grateful. P.S. Debby and I plan to be here for a while as our home re-construction gets underway and I look forward to joining her in retirement! May you and your loved ones enjoy the blessings of this holiday season!
