Getting 2025 started! I hope you are all enjoying the new year thus
far.
As Brian mentions, the articles are submitted about a month in
advance. As such, we are currently adding the results of the Holiday
Decorating Contest etc., so please bear with us.
The Board of Directors election is on Feb. 12. If you have not sent
in your ballot, we encourage you to do so as we need a quorum to
proceed in finalizing results.
The month of December had us delivering 250 meals to those in
need in the community as well as holding our first sit-down holiday
dinner in quite a while. I have included pictures of the fun dinner.
Please be on the look-out for future events, starting in March.
December also saw Mayor Bill Zimmerman leaving the mayoral
position. The Sun City Quilting Club presented Mayor Zimmerman
with a special quilt at his last meeting on Dec. 17. Below are pictures
of this great dedication.
