FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2025 65
Duplicate Bridge
Yes, duplicate bridge can be more serious than party bridge but
all who play this form of the game agree that it can be a lot of fun.
The plan is to have a session of duplicate bridge on the second
Saturday of the month, provided there is sufficient interest. I am
looking forward to directing a session on Feb. 8.
I have a mailing list for those interested in duplicate bridge
at Four Seasons Beaumont. Please contact me if your name is
not on the list and have an interest in duplicate bridge. ~ Kirk

Rummikub
Rummikub (rummy cube) is one of the most popular games in
the world. It is a tile-based game for two to four players combining
elements of the card game rummy and mahjong. Rummikub was
invented in the 50s by Ephraim Hertzano, a Romanian-born Jew. He
had made the first sets with his family in the backyard of his home
and sold them door to door. Over the years, the family licensed it to
other countries. In the 1970s, it was brought to the United States. We
welcome you to come and join us on Mondays from 2 to 4 pm in The
Lodge Game Room. It's no problem if you have never played before.
We love to teach! If you have any questions, call me, Sherry Mounts
at (323) 810-0632.
