On Jan. 14, 2025, we celebrated our first
General Meeting of the New Year. The
membership was notified of the opportunity to elect a New Board
of Directors, including but not limited to the following positions:
Executive Director, Treasurer, Branch Representatives and more.
Our club began in September, 2023, with just 13 members and has
grown to over 150 registered members as of this issue of Lifestyles
Magazine. Thanks to Courtney and team for helping get the word
out by posting our articles and pictures of our events. We appreciate
the support and cooperation.
We expect to conclude nominations in January, vote by early
February, and announce the club's new
management team in March.
Our membership is open to all Sun Lakers who are supportive of
our members and active-duty military. We attempt to be as non-
political as we possibly can. Our by-laws are posted on the Sun
Lakes CC website.
On behalf of all members of the Veterans of Sun Lakes CC, we
wish you a wonderful new year and look forward to serving the
great Sun Lakes community for many years to come.
