Jan. 28 found IDS members and their
guests welcoming the Year of the Snake in a
fabulous Lunar New Year Celebration. The
party included good food and fellowship,
dancing, singing, gifts and surprises. Party
coordinators Hai Yan Jackson, Sophia Lin,
Patty Barille and Nora Huffman worked
together to create an entertaining and
enjoyable afternoon. By the way, Hai Yan,
who teaches Chinese dance to IDS members,
is putting the finishing touches on a group
dance as well as a solo dance for our show
next month.
On April 5 and 6, the International
Dancers will present dances from around
the world and much more. Tickets for our
production will be available for purchase in
the Main Clubhouse Lobby, Monday through
Friday, 9 am to 2 pm, the week of March 10
and again the week of March 17. Tickets are
$15 per person, table seating. You may also
purchase tickets from IDS members at any
time — the earlier the better for best table
selection.
