Get ready for some traditional Celtic music and some great rock 'n roll from the fabulous Clay Colton Band on Sun., March 16. is is an expanded version of band members from Clay Colton — a Doo Wop tradition! Wear something green or run the risk of getting pinched. is is one of our premier events and it will be well attended. Grab your friends, food, and xins (BYOE — tea, coee and water provided) and have yourself a magnicent St. Patrick's Day right here in OHCC. Volunteers, from our club, served pizza, salad and refreshments. Written by Andrea Anderson, Secretary 14 | OHCC LIVING | MARCH 2025 | Village Squares e Village Squares dancers enjoyed President Robert Gross's idea of a dierent theme for the fourth Wednesday of the month. e January theme was "Twenty-seven dresses" from the movie of the same name. e idea was too come wearing something you hadn't been able to wear for some time — something you wanted to wear again. ere appeared outts of all kinds. e Wards and the Jarfs both came in the typical square dance outts that we all used to wear but abandoned many years ago in favor of casual dress. However, clearly the best dressed were Robert Gross and Kathleen Alexander, dressed in very sparkly attire they had once worn to a Las Vegas wedding, where the tablecloths were the same fabric as Robert's shirt! It was a lot of fun, and we look forward to the fourth Wednesday in March with another theme dance.
