26 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | MARCH 2025 |
Golf Cart Club: Nothing new since last month, a quiet time
regarding any Golf Cart Club activities. No golf cart parades until
the July 4th event. It seems like a long time down the road, but it
will be here before you know it!
Flag Angels: However, the Flag Angels have been busy; they
put up ags throughout the community for Presidents Day on Feb.
17. e Angels get a little break; the next ag posting will be
Memorial Day with ags up Sat., May 24 and ags down Tuesday
May 27. Tom and Joan Polder have been helping Irene Chapman
when she cannot post ags! anks for the help!
A couple of months ago, I promised that I would highlight each
of the "Flag Angels" in the Herald over the next few months. Toni
Harris is featured in this issue of the Herald. Toni and Dennis
Harris were among the original Angels. Toni started with Dennis
and, when he passed, she continued placing ags (a total of over
18 years). Toni and Dennis moved from Glendora CA, and Toni
has been a resident for 19 years. Her route covers the Masters
south of World Cup Drive areas. If you know or recognize these
Angels, give them a well-deserved "thank you" the next time you
see them.
e Flag Angels ranks are constantly changing. We have lost
a number of angels due to assorted reasons. I have been able to
replace those angels but most of the substitutes were "used up" in
this process. If anyone is interested in being a Flag Angel, I could
still use a volunteer or two as substitutes. If you would be willing
to help provide this very popular service, please call me (951) 973-
4149, or email me at mikemcla43@aol.com. ~ Mike McLaughlin,
